Pointy Ears

Those of you who have been to Rome (Sista Lindz, Mr. Red Swingline, etc) have all heard me talk about Pointy Ears.

He was the boy I had made out with while walking around Rome in June, and he and I have been sms-ing for three months now, but the gods have kept us apart...

... till last night...

Last night, at 2 am, he answers my phone call, and I convince him to come over (and I use the word 'convince' because he lives on the direct opposite side of town, about 20 miles away). And when he showed up in his little snazzy Porshe (one of 5 cars, and 3 motorcycles he owns), all the months of waiting paid off...

... and ladies, drop me an email if you're curious and want details (this one was Kinky with a capital 'K'!!)

Dinner with boys... and no luck for me.

My 'boyfriend' Sicily had one of his friends visiting from Australia. The minute Aussie landed in Rome, Sicily & I whisked him off to a trendy restaurant, where Aussie saw a cute boy he liked (at a table-full of 5 other men). I asked our waitress to sit us with them. She looked at me and said, Honey, don't hold your breath. When I explained I wanted to sit there because of Aussie, she said, Well, in that case, I can do even better. They were her friends. Not only did she introduce that, but she added an extra table to their table, and we all sat down together. The guys, all gorgeous, unfortunately were gay. But we are all going partying the next 3 weeks while Aussie is in town.

Gay Village... AGAIN

I guess I am just a glutton for punishment, because I convinced Sicily, my gorgeous gay boyfriend here in Rome, to take me back to Gay Village (what I didn't explain in my last blog is that gay village is an outdoor patioed area, with multiple dancefloors, and lots of different bars and stands). All the men are gorgeous -- and a lot of them swing both ways.

My 'boyfriend' Sicily was off with his gorgeous crush (who is a backup dancer for music videos, so you can only imagine how much I danced my ass around) and I was left to my own devices. After dancing with the crowds for a bit, I stripped for the gay boys (not that anyone even stopped to look).

... at one point, I had a riding crop in my hand, and I was spanking cute gay boys. I have no ideas whose crop that was, or how I ended up with it, but I had it. And I loved it. I felt like Madonna in one of her old-school kinky videos.

Gay Village

Last night I finally got around to going to Gay Village. It's a little gay oasis in downtown Rome that is amazing. My mouth was constantly hanging open at the gorgeous boys (often making out with one another), and I wanted to partake as well, but alas, I have breasts (quite nice ones, I might add). However, one cute boy did lick the lickable powder I put on my cleavage.

I must admit, however, that falling in love with a 20 year old Greek gay boy does have its problems. ^sigh^

Earthquake

Along the lines of Keg's last email... today I was taking a nap in the middle of the atfternoon, when I woke up because I felt like I was rocking on a boat. I thought it was my imagination, but when I turned on the news I found out that we had an earthquake here in Rome. Under a 5.0, but hey, it was my first!

P-Diddy is here

My great friend P-Diddy, long-time friend from college (who has since moved to the arm pit of the US, ie. Kansas City), came over to Rome for three days to visit before his Eastern European Tour.

He got to my house yesterday at 6pm, and by 7pm, I had him showered and changed, and on my scooter on our way to a chic drinks mixer at a friend's house. She had the coolest apartment: when you look out the window, you get a clear view of the President of Italy's residence and office. It was 200 feet away. Not bad.

Our lovely host kept our drinks filled to the brim, we never even had to move a pinkie to get more alcohol... And by midnight, when one of us got a phone call to move the party to a bar, we all followed like sheep.

Even though P-Diddy had just gotten to Rome, and must have been tired and jetlagged, he didn't complain. He just drank like a champ till 2 in the morning. And we left early...

This morning, I had a wee headache from all that booze, but I got us home in one piece on my scooter!

Custom of the Country

My Sister and I decided to pop up to the Umbrian countryside to visit our mother. SisterG had just gotten back from a 2-month trip and hadn't seen our Mother in quite a while. We call our Mom, Mom we are coming up to visit. Go buy good food, like steaks and cheese. The funny thing is she actually did. SisterG and I did nothing but eat and eat for 24 hours. Hand-made fettuccine, steaks, fresh Umbrian cheese and bread. Breakfast in bed.

That's the beauty of going to visit our mom. Don't go often, but when you do, announce it and make sure you give her a shopping list.

PS. If anyone gets what the title of this blog, you will win a BIG prize... anyone? anyyyyone??

Party Pad

Last night I hosted a 'welcome home' party for my sister (just got back from Sardinia). Bbq, jello shots, champagne punch, the works.

... and you know it went well when you get 15 calls at 5pm from your friends, telling you they are SO hung over, missed work, missed the beach, missed the whole day...

.... and you know it went well when you're cleaning up the mess and you take a swig from a half-empty beer just to still your quacking hands...

... and you know it went well when everyone is too tired to go out tonight...

^sigh^

Plans

I love to plan things. So now I am planning the following 9 months of my life.

Sept 15- October 2. Texas, Mexico, then back to Rome.

Fall - Budapest and Palermo with MeZack (hopefully).

December 5th- Back to the States.

In December, I will be all over Texas, I will go visit friends in NYC, I will go skiing in New Mexico and Colorado and I want to go Puerto Rico. I am getting a house for all my friends in Rincon, Puerto Rico (I am trying to plan that so all y'all need to send me dates? Is December or January better? I need to know!!)

January, I am going heli-skiing in Canada... and I'm not sure where else?

February, back to Rome. Then to Torino to see the Olympics. I already have tickes for the USA-Russia ice hockey match. Then I have tickets for: Men's freestyle finals (all those crazy jumps!), the women's alpine finals (downhill, slalom, the GS, the work) and also final tickets for the mens' alpine events, then for the snowboarding halfpipe and ... hehehe, for the curling finals!!!! HAHA. I won't even tell you what these tickets are costing me, but since I am a HUGE skier, it will be worth it!

Then March I start to work, and I do it all over again!

*****NB: Is January or December better for everyone for the house in Puerto Rico???*****
